✜ CRIMES AGAINST NATURE ✜
crimes against nature means getting feverish on Friday the 13th
spring up onto the dancefloor for the frisky season
it means not taking the pastel colours lying down
ϡ
ϡ
it means slamming a live birth into the season of solar return
into the season of the procreative pair-bonding
of messianic reanimation (lambchop's gayalong)
getting yr egg cracking, rosebud bursting, Easter-basket case asses into it
suckling Ms. Gaia's left one
breaking out the unbridled jiggly-jiggly body-knowledge that we are natural mammals
both lambs and chops
hedonists all
birds and bees!

This is a spring run-off dance-off, dance-rite done right, right into the muddy ground.

The Mitchikanibikok Inik are an Algonquin Anishinabe community in active struggle for land and liberty. Their un-ceded territory, still very much their lifeline, has been invaded by mining and forestry companies. A wildlife park was established over their territory, bringing scores of tourists into their land and waters. Hydro Quebec generates electricity from their rivers, the damming of which even forced the community to be relocated, but refuses to connect them to the public grid.
Through all of this, their traditional government has remained strong in its resolve to fight, to protect the land and their rights to it. Last year, the Canadian government began negotiating with a small faction who wanted to sell rights to corporate interests. Help us support this community on the front lines of the struggle for First Nations' rights, the struggle against corporate destruction of the environment - real crimes against nature!
